Here's another Christmas song of note.
I love good Christmas music and Alison Krause plus Yo-Yo Ma is thoroughbred stuff.

Two of my favorite artists
..and after I enjoyed that, this played.
The Piano Guys are always remarkable and a joy when they come up on my rotation. This one of their Christmas collection came up on the sidebar and features an angelic contralto worthy of their art. Standing in a stream was somewhat a distraction, but otherwise the complete reconfiguration of "O Holy Night" was appealing to me even though the traditional melody is my favorite Christmas song. Those guys can do no wrong, it seems.

Beautiful
I can live stream a wide selection of their music from Amazon through my Prime membership. I am currently in my NY office and listening to their "Family Christmas" album. One of the greatest values I personally find in the internet, is my unlimited access to music of every conceivable genre without boundaries of time or place.
As silly as it is, I am looking forward to listening to music in the new car with 26 speakers----even with my bad ear that has to be rewarding!
Added in edit: I probably should have added that the current music is having a major influence in returning me to "normal" since it is following a particularly raucous meeting.
I hope you did not overlook #510 above, Dave. I keep going back to that video as about as good as it gets.
I should have replied :o:
Not only did I listen, that night I went to Amazon and downloaded a number of their albums to my cloud player:cool_one:
Thank you.
It is hard to imagine that it will be 50 years ago tomorrow since Otis Redding died in a plane crash.
He was only 26 years old at his death.
...and another great moves on far too early. Kevin Mahogany was only 59.
I can't stand to be around cigarette smoke (although I was a heavy smoker for years) but I still harbor fond memories of nights spent with my girl(s) in dark smokey jazz clubs, slow dancing, slowly sipping my drink (since I could hardly afford another), while being washed by the music and the place.
On occasion, I will go down to the Blue Note for a set or two, it isn't the same as it once was, but I can still close my eyes and go back there at least momentarily. Kevin Mahogany can take me there.
I always thought Rita Hayworth was gorgeous. I didn’t even know she danced —

Eva Cassidy sings Over The Rainbow. What a loss her early death was to us. This performance was when she had a cold and it was said she very much disliked the recording. Check the side bar for her Autumn Leaves from the same session.

Re Eva Cassidy, I think I have all of her albums and CDs. What a loss:wah:
Ok normally I don't like his stuff but the music, vocals , and cinematography on this are excellent and they did it live in one take

Justin Timberlake has never been in my wheelhouse before either, but that video in sum was better than its parts. Very entertaining to me.
