Two people were injured during a crash in the Sun Valley Tour de Force driving event on Saturday, according to event organizers. The incident occurred during sanctioned "no speed limit" runs over a 3.2-mile section of state highway in Sawtooth National Recreation Area in Idaho.

Did a high-speed run with the Blue Knights (MC Club) that started in Moab, UT. My bike (KLR 650) would top out at 110 MPH, but it could handle that speed all day, bumping up against the rev limiter. The others were all on street bikes but the dual sport fit right in.
It was a good experience, but I haven't done a speed event since. For, when you're maxing out a bike (or any vehicle), you are focused on not making a life-threatening error - rather than taking the time to look around at the gorgeous scenery.
