Living in a swing state at this point is akin to a political attack---on a personal level
I don't look at much TV----but my wife does and I hear it----the political ads are back to back without end. First, one is accusing the other of lying, then the other accuses the first one of lying. They don't even have much imagination

While visiting North Carolina a , year or two ago, saw a political ad.. “and, as a judge, she released a pedophile” .. wowzers! Could that be true..
So I call on Mr. Google..
As a matter of fact she did release a pedophile.. and the released pedophile had his conviction overturned by SCOTUS.. so technically he was no longer a pedophile.. and her actions were the correct ones..
The only thing better than your attack ads are the attack ads for a neighboring jurisdiction that you have no knowledge of or interest in..

Very little activity here related to the upcoming election. Our local news agencies simply parrot what the big national ones (e.g., CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, CNN, et al.) announce. But, we've not had the phone calls we typically had from push polls, etc. We had heard before of gov efforts to bring a halt to them. So, it's possible those efforts were successful.
