I worked on the P-3 and C-130 for 25 years.. both are Lockheed and use the Allison (now Rolls Royce ) T-56 engine .. T-56 will stand a 130 on its tail.. but like our old Power Strokes will destroy itself by overheating the turbine.. our EGT is their TIT (always pronunciation Tee Eye Tee or Turbine Inlet Temperature) ..
