Nope, on the F-4's I was the guy in Weapons Release who made it possible for whatever was uploaded to go bang at the desired moment...When I was still working on F-105's I would have hung a few of those under a few wings if our missions took place in SEA...In Europe during the 60's our purposes were tactical nuclear strikes (which thanks to The Lord never occurred)...However, training flights (which happened on a daily basis) required all systems, nuclear and conventional, to be fully operational since mission requirements could change in an unwarned instant...Originally Posted by TriGuy
