Back to the Army: they told me I HAD to have a SS number---but I still didn't have the Army thing worked out and I said I didn't want one because I didn't believe in SS. The guy doing the talking was very calm----he said----Okay--then we will just keep taking out the money and send it to Washington with all the rest and you will not get any credit for it. Now I might have been young and dumb---but I quickly decided that was not going to be a beneficial move on my part----so---I gots me a number right then and there!
