    Eric Adams indicted

Haven't followed the story very much but it is interesting since this individual is the first New York mayor to be indicted while in office. I would have thought that that had occurred before taking into consideration The vast amount of corruption that goes on in New York City.

My mom’s family is from (all except two cousins, one house, have sold out) Palisades Park New Jersey..at the end of the George Washington Bridge, 20 minutes bus ride to Port Authority (bus station, 42st at 8th Ave, Lincoln Tunnel terminus) .. politics are different there.. a lot is different there.. entire second economy (under the table, fell off a truck, know a guy who knows a guy)..

I’m surprised that he crossed the line that got him indicted..

Does that make him any dumber than the rest of the world's politicians, or are the rest of us just fed up to here with "bidness as usual"?......Ben

Man, used to be the Feds would have the courtesy to indict criminal politicians only after they've retired.

Adams is street smart----a big opening for corruption. I think the only thing that kept de blasio out of a similar fate was that he wasn't smart (in any fashion).

On the positive side.. Both Mayor Adam’s and Senator Menendez were receiving bribes from foreign entities.. they were improving our trade balance..

Even more interesting it was the same country--Turkey. I should add however that menedez was multinational---he had a broader base
