Horrifying. I have friends that were affected by the last one in Western North Carolina. Some of the worst damage I've ever seen.

That track brings it into Fl right were my wife's cousin lives---and they are in Peru

The track remains about the same. It is expected to be a Cat 3 when it comes ashore and still be a Cat 1 as it exits the east coast of Florida.
But--there is hope:
On Thursday evening, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia tweeted: “Yes they can control the weather. It’s ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can’t be done.”
This is wholly unsurprising for Greene, the right-wing firebrand and conspiracy monger who once mused about the possibility of Jews controlling space lasers for the purpose of starting wildfires.
