Some food for thought on election Eve.

This is a little bit long, but I found it intellectually insightful.

With minimal editing, this article could fit the modern Republican party just as well. I say we should outlaw political partys, caucuses and PACS. Make every candidate run on his own merit.

Now we're getting somewhere in the discussion...Politicians have been allowed to infiltrate political parties without repercussion or punishment, and are the bane of good government...Statesmen are who are needed in government, not politicians......Ben

Very minimal editing.. (be afraid of immigrants.. someone intentionally caused inflation (it’s a world problem))

Sounds good until you have a self funded candidate.. Trone (owns Total beverage) in the next congressional district (in Maryland) just steamrolled the competition for a house seat.. (but he couldn’t do it in the Senate primary, Alsobrooks won) ..

And we have Younkin as governor who can also self fund.. (but not govern)..

We do need a change in how we elect our leaders.. I just don’t have an answer..

I'm sorry to say that I found that just one more politically biased essay with a purpose.
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty” ---Sir Winston Churchill
"Political extremism involves two prime ingredients: an excessively simple diagnosis of the world's ills, and a conviction that there are identifiable villains back of it all." ---John W. Gardner

Absolutely it was partisan. That was the intention. No different from some of the emails you post from your "friend" as in the female scholar whose essays you post here from time to time.
