Now we're getting somewhere in the discussion...Politicians have been allowed to infiltrate political parties without repercussion or punishment, and are the bane of good government...Statesmen are who are needed in government, not politicians......Ben

Sounds good until you have a self funded candidate.. Trone (owns Total beverage) in the next congressional district (in Maryland) just steamrolled the competition for a house seat.. (but he couldn’t do it in the Senate primary, Alsobrooks won) ..

And we have Younkin as governor who can also self fund.. (but not govern)..

We do need a change in how we elect our leaders.. I just don’t have an answer..

Absolutely it was partisan. That was the intention. No different from some of the emails you post from your "friend" as in the female scholar whose essays you post here from time to time.
