Thumbs up Today is the day

The weather forecast is calling for rain beginning late afternoon today and continuing into tomorrow morning with the potential for 1/2" of rain----the first rain in 42 days

The corn and beans were not badly impacted---in fact most has already been harvested at low moisture content requiring no drying

Trees and general vegetation is another matter and this coming rain is only a drop in the bucket of what is needed prior to winter setting in.

Just finished installing Artificial Grass in the back lawns. No more mowing for me (gave my mower to one of the mexicans helping with the demo).

Now mi casa is pretty much bomb proof so I can travel and not worry about the maintenance

sounds perfect bo. i am slowly turning my yard into wildflower fields and fruit trees and just a small bit of mowable grass. none of my neighbors care and most came and picked pears this fall i also left room to expand the tractor race course the less i have to mow, the better, plus the pollinators love it!

Next rain will be the first for around here for me. The few drops we got during this year's monsoon wasn't enough to wet the ground.

Next chance around here is probably January.... We get most of our annual rain fall in Jan/Feb. Long (3-4 day) slow soaker.
