I like cross-genre hybrids like Krauss and Plant. I even liked the rock/rap hybrid at first, but now it is overdone.

WOW--please tell me that is on something I have ordered! That is simply beautiful--and powerful. I think that is more moving than "Down to the River to Pray".

We have Sirius at the cottage but I found myself playing Ali's CD off and on all weekend

Added in edit: The answer is no--it isn't on anything I had ordered---but it is now I just ordered "Lonely Runs Both Ways"---and then just to get the free shipping I ordered "Forty Acres and a Fool"

I have that Chieftains dvd which features the Chieftains playing with a wide variety of Bluegrass luminaries. The video and audio quality of that dvd is excellent as are the performances. I didn't know who the Chieftains were until this dvd was recommended to me. It gets my high recommendation. Damn, I love all the new media.

Dave, we played "A Living Prayer" at my Wife's memorial service this past Monday. It says it all.

Mike I'm truly so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope that you can find comfort and I will be thinking about you and I'm sure everybody else here will too.

OOPS! I guess I've had too much going on to say anything here.

My wife passed away on May 25th, 2019. I miss her greatly, but I take solace in knowing she is no longer in pain.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts.
