My thought on this mosque is, if, and when, a Mormon temple, or chapel is allowed to be built anywhere, without protest, that it would be perfectly ok to have a mosque built anywhere they want. At this point, that is not happening. The complaints are wide and far ranging, but it boils down to, it is a Mormon place of worship. And, last I heard, there was major discussions, and protests in Phoenix and Gilbert over that very thing, with land that the Mormon Church already owned. Tell me how that is different? Well, except that the Mormon church does not force people to join at the tip of a spear, and kill them if they go to another church.
