And how lucky we all are to have our horizons broadened
I found this statement in your link of great interest:
It is part of what I see in these performances, and from our seats it is obvious. The conversation between the artists continues all thorough the performance. All of it non-verbal which allows the audience to "listen in".Johann Wolfgang von Goethe described chamber music (specifically, string quartet music) as "four rational people conversing".[3]
I find the venue often is equal in importance to the performance--it can lead me into the mood or right out at times. At one concert at the Weis Center by the Celtic group Cherish the Ladies PBS was recording the performance for TV---all the intimacy of a small venue went right out the door---I felt invaded
Added in edit: maybe my feeling was more of being violated

Here is another interesting new voice.
I have his first album and it is excellent. Johnathan Antonine appeared on Britain has talent and I'd have to say he might have made Susan Boyle seem as if she could be his mother---but it all didn't matter once he began to sing. He has the potential for a grand future if he keeps it together.

Jonathan has spiffed up a lot since his debute on Britain's Got Talent a few years ago as part of a duo, Charlotte & Jonathan. He is also a much more assured and accomplished singer, but his voice then showed the promise he has reached now in Dave's video.
Simon's advice to go seperate from Charlotte was good then, as she did not have the chops of her partner, although she now records individually too.
The audition video is fun in the vein of the big surprise ala Susan Boyle coming from an unlikely and sloppy appearing source. (I love Susan Boyle, btw.)

I don't much get moved by Krall's tinkly major key ditties, but here's one in which I think she hits her stride — Billy Joel's Just The Way You Are —

I'm working (writing and article) but had to sit back and take a break when this came on my player.
Knowing my demons I'll let you imagine how I react to it but for whatever reason I keep it and pause when it comes on. The first time I heard this song was at a Clancy Brothers concert---and I had to leave--it was like a kick in the gut---for it happened again and again---and continues.
For a change of pace, try this one.
