    Need Your Help

    In light of all the personal attacks, trolling and just plain disrespect of other members recently, I am creating a list of words to be banned by the built-in auto censor. I need your help in making sure we get them all. I'll start:

    All forms of the word "you"
    "Right" and its derivatives
    "Left" and its derivatives
    "Conservative" and its derivatives
    "Liberal" and its derivatives
    "Idiot"
    "Stupid"
    "Obama"
    "Trump"

    That's it for now, I'll add to the list when I think of some more. Please submit your entries, too.

    Ok, I'm not really going to do this - I just want everyone to think about what we post and how it affects everyone here. As far as I know, we are all friends and I really don't think some of the things being posted are very friendly. Would you really say these things to a friend face to face?

    I'll add that Mike walks a fine line in providing this service to us, and has never asked a dime in defraying the expense of maintaining this site, only that we keep it friendly and express our opinions on the topics of the day without attacking each other...He's just reminded us that censorship is technically possible, but morally repugnant to him...It is also possible to just pull the plug as we have already seen happen at other discussion boards...

    So as hard as it is for me to just express my opinion on the topic without telling some of you goobers off, I will personally pledge today to do what I can by behaving more like an adult to prevent Mike from finding some other outlet for his retirement pay...Who will join me?......Ben

    I can't promise anything, my alter ego takes over and I am powerless against him. Maybe some less incendiary topics, we know when something is posted for the sole purpose of inflaming the conversation.
