People often wonder how football players, boxers and such can go through millions of dollars smoking what adds up to just thousands in coke. Here's another good example, although I'd guess it's ice he's smoking. Drugs and alcohol kill indiscriminately!

The main knock or excuse attached to Musk has been excessive Ambien use, as I hear it. You’ll have to ask someone else how that can lead to his recent unsettling actions and comments all the way up to repeatedly accusing a chief rescuer of the children in Thailand of being a child molester after they refused to use his device in the rescue. Now his top executives are jumping ship.

It gets worse...much worse. The SEC has sued Musk personally and part of the action is asking that Musk be permanently barred from any CEO position in any public stock corporation for his episode in which he awakened one morning and decided to announce he had funding to take Tesla private, when the SEC says he did not and knew it. That’s a no-no, folks, because it tends to drive the price of outstanding stock up, which it did.

Brilliant peoples mines are always ticking be it car guys, musicians, artists etc.. Through my 30 years of treatment centers, 7 years of which I was employed by them and actually sober, most of the time anyway, I saw very few bums. A few kids sent by their parents, some house wife's that had taken Valium to an all new levels but typically it was people that were brilliant. Their minds are just always going, they can't sleep, they are always just around the corner from saving the world but they can't save themselves. Pills to sleep and pills to get up, something to relax. It's amazing the messes they get themselves into. I sure hope Musk gets his head together or gets rid of his new influences so he can.
