    CNC Router

I thought I had posted about this sometime back, but I can't seem to find the post.

While I was visiting my brother on Christmas, he showed off his CNC router that he bought early this year. I must say I was extremely impressed. The router is a high-end hobby, or low-end commercial setup that includes water cooling and amazing capability. It is easily converted to laser, which we will do in the future. Yes, I said "we"! It gets moved from his too small garage to my soon to be 30'x50' fairly new metal shop on a concrete slab when I get moved in. New toys!

I don't remember the make or model, but it looked similar to this:

You can have a lot of fun with that---but try to add dust collection to it---even a small machine like that can put out a lot of dust.

I've had both of these in my workshop for many years. They are going with me.

The shop is in much better condition than the house. It can't be more than 5 years or so old. You can come visit it anytime!

I missed the chance last summer to buy a different brand dust collector in my little town for $150.00.
