I am referring to the news/entertainment discussion being shouted down. Regarding your comments, I misunderstood you to opine that the two had no relationship. I was poking fun at your analysis-free conclusion. Of course we may be arguing about two completely different things, in which case I declare myself the winner because only I understand the point I was making.

My wife thinks its a weasely way to keep winning our arguments. I have no doubt she will ultimately prevail.

That actually is one of the best arguments I've seen on this site.

More “Crazy Time” stuff. This time triggered snowflakes revolt because a website named “Blue Lives Matter” dedicated to honoring police officers killed and injured in the line of duty offends their tender police-hating sensibilities and the publisher, after a short espouse defending the site, buckles and kills the entire publication.

This insanity will pass and there will be a backlash.

Who would dream the Poetry Foundation has amassed a sitting endowment fund of over a quarter of a billion$? That is a mighty tempting target for the hip-hop crowd (after all, they are the real poets today) who have decreed that the foundation’s muckety-mucks did not prostrate the organization enough to satisfy the current Black Lives Matter crowd, so they want the money turned over to them “ for distribution.”

Proving they are intent on obliterating American history and values, a mob in California gleefully tore down a statue of Ulysses S. Grant and Francis Scott Key —

    https://disrn.com/news/california-ri...lished-the-kkk

Two days ago the Know-Nothings tore down a statue of George Washington. Numerous statues of Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson have been defiled and/or marked for destruction. Comrade DeBlasio has appointed his radical wife to chair another commission to determine what part of history to attack and obscure next in their crumbling city.

Was the “noose” threatening the soul black driver in NASCAR, Bubba Wallace, merely a hand loop on the end of garage door pull down rope just like on the other garage doors on garage row at Talledaga Raceway?

    https://theconservativetreehouse.com...rposeful-hoax/

All the parties around this possible hoax have made it a “virtue signaling” spectacle anyway exemplified by all drivers en masse pushing the driver and his “Black Lives Matter” car to the starting line, where The King (of NASCAR), Richard Petty, slobbered all over Wallace as Wallace literally sobbed in appreciation. Always keep in mind that NASCAR is a family owned entertainment enterprise similar to “wrastling” with cars and ballyhoo is good for business.

I don't get it...Auto racing has been integrated for as long as I've been following it...The most feared drag racing team I remember from the 60's was the A/GS '41 Willys coupe of Stone, Woods and Cook...Their team almost singlehandedly popularized the big block Olds and the B&M Hydrostick...They dominated the class all the way into the 70's...I knew two of the team were black, but I don't remember it ever mattering to anyone because I never saw that in print...All that mattered to me was that they were perennial winners...Sadly, not all stories end on a happy note......Ben

    From the comments:
FBI: Excuse me rope, are you a noose?
Rope: Nope, I'm a frayed knot.
