I have no skin in the game---just following along.
But I do have one observation--or question---if the defense of not allowing DC state hood status is based on not allowing them to have two Senators---then by that reason neither Wyoming or RI should have none either---just sayin
At what level of population would you think a state could qualify for a place in the Senate. Following that logic---and ignoring totally the intent of the framers of our constitution ---at the point you can just eliminate the Senate and go with the house of "Representatives".
It seems to me everything I have heard advanced on the side of no---is based on partisan politics--pure and simple---am I understanding that correctly?
